considered THE Gay - capital of Colombia, if not all of Latin America.
What was once San Francisco for the United States today for Barranquilla Colombia.
The acceptance of gays and lesbians within the Colombian people is exemplary.
There is indeed a gay scene, but in contrast to many other cultures, borders, out here in Barranquilla, the straight people not from the Gays. Whether private or public parties, whether family celebrations or in the workplace. The gays and lesbians live freely and accepted 100%.
And the Carnival of Barranquilla has its Gay - Parade . An equally popular with heterosexuals and homosexuals parade. People .... it was spectacular.
